Unique Melody is one of the first and longest-established manufacturer of custom in-ear monitors in China. Since 2007, with over 10 years of research and experience in the industry, we’ve developed a wide range of products from multi-BA, hybrid dynamic and BA, to more recent units containing bluetooth, planar magnetic, piezoelectric, and bone conducting technologies that also contain various patents.

2007 – UM started off offering modification and reshelling services for their UE, Shure, and Westone monitors.

2008 – The Unique Melody name is official adopted. We imported the German Egger shell system and launched our first two products – The 2 driver UM4 and 3 driver Aero.

2009 – Introduced the 4 driver Mage and our well-known upgrade service adding extra BA drivers to improve existing models from other brands.

2010 – Introduced the Miracle – One of the most well-known custom in-ear monitor in the audio enthusiast community.

2011 – Introduced the Merlin – One of the first units to bolster the strengths of a hybrid design.

2012 – Introduced the 3DD triple dynamic driver unit. We also implemented the use of German 3D-DLP 3D scanner and printer.

2013 – Introduced the Platform Pure 6 (PP6) and Mentor – A 6 driver unit with external active crossovers and a 10 driver design, respectively.

2014 – Introduced the 12 driver Mason.

2015 – Implemented the use of 3D ear canal scanner from the US.

2016 – Implemented the use of German Loctite shell system and the introduction of the Mentor V2 and Mason V2.

2017 – Introduced the ME.1 – The world's first custom planar magnetic in-ear monitor. Release of the redesigned 12 driver Mentor V3 and 16 driver Mason V3 and implemented German titanium 3D printer.
